Afghan refugee now teaching Wisconsin college students about global affairs.

Najib Azad is an Afghan evacuee who resettled in Stevens Point, Wisconsin after the Taliban takeover in August 2021. Azad is a visiting lecturer at UW-Stevens Point and the author of the book, “Beyond Evacuation: From the Himalayas to the Statue for Liberty.”
